An engaging homepage is just as important on an employee facing web platform as it is on a company website. It should welcome the user and direct them to the parts of the platform you want them to engage with whilst encouraging them to explore the platform in more depth. 'Many of our clients run multiple campaigns across the year and they need their users get to this content quickly and easily' said David Spragg, Resourcebase Managing Director. To meet this challenge we went back to the drawing board and worked with several clients to come up with a format that met their needs and was simple to administer. A CMS was created to build 'active' panels that link to the content in one click. Panels can feature animations, images, icons or pure text for news stories or background information. Drag 'n Drop allows the panels to be configured and re-configured to suit. 'As we've rolled this out to clients the feedback has been really positive with many reporting increased engagement from their users' added David. We're setting up an alert function so users are notified of new content as soon as it's live.

Premier Vet Alliance has chosen to work with Resourcebase to develop its marketing portal for veterinary practices. Marketing Manager Holly Hill commented '‘We recognise that many practices don't have the budgets for lots of marketing and our Content Cloud gives them access to a range of professionally designed, customisable material for social media content, advertising and print collateral, all at no cost. In a recent PVA clinic survey, 63% of responders could see the benefits of digital marketing to veterinary clinics and wanted more content to share with their followers and build their profile' 'As a UK business with a growing presence in the U.S.A, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and France, our Resourcebase platform will allow us to launch campaigns and new content simultaneously in all markets,' added Holly. Marc Stephenson from Resourcebase said: ‘It’s been great working with Premier Vet Alliance and to build a solution for veterinary clinics. The content is instant, flexible and almost completely customisable. The clinics are sure to get finished results that look like they have been created by professional designers!’

Leading London charity St Christopher’s needed a more efficient and accessible way to manage and share an expanding range of digital assets across a network of operations, volunteers and retail outlets. Originally founded by Dame Cicely Saunders, St Christopher’s has been a pioneer in the field of palliative medicine and every year, the charity provides care and support to over 6,500 people across south east London, both at home and in the hospice. The charities' strapline 'More than just a hospice' is particularly apt; as well as the day-to-day running of the hospice St Christophers operates a successful chain of 24 retail shops in London, organises a number of well-supported community and sporting events across the year and runs an extensive calendar of education courses for professionals and volunteers. As a non-profit organisation, marketing to attract donors and engage with the community is a key priority. To ensure staff and partners are easily able to access the best and most appropriate content the charity has implemented a Resourcebase platform to act as a single brand source for their promotional and international educational work.

Resourcebase has added a powerful file transfer from within the Resourcebase desktop to help organisations centralise and manage their file sending functions. The Flyte application is a no-cost option with Resourcebase which replaces our clients' ad-hoc accounts with WeTransfer, Dropbox, Sharefile, et al – reducing the proliferation of such applications that is common in many companies. A key benefit is that Flyte is trackable, maintaining a history of file transfer operations within the Resourcebase user records.

The value of visual assets in marketing continues to grow – yet new research says most marketers find justifying ROI from imagery and video a real issue. One major charity commented: “The biggest challenge is that, being such a large organisation, it can be hard to keep track of everything." A report in June 2020, jointly commissioned by Shutterstock, Marketing Week and Creative Review, showed 65% of leading marketers expected their use of visuals assets to grow, with a budget increase to match, but also reported that 92% struggled to prove the return on that investment.

We’re passionate about collaborating with partners because we understand the mutual rewards it brings. Over time, we’ve cultivated strong partnerships with design agencies, printers, and direct marketing specialists. What began as client relationships have evolved into valuable partnerships. Our partners have continually challenged us to develop solutions and make modifications that cater to their clients' evolving needs. This collaborative environment nurtures innovation and creativity. They bring a deep understanding of their clients' requirements and excel in marketing, while we contribute our expertise in technology, resulting in the creation of innovative products and solutions. Some examples of this work: Delivering print ready files directly into a printers press management system Integrating with a property mapping engine to derive customised direct mail pieces Carrying out custom development for exhibition and event collateral production and management Witnessing the benefits it offers, our partners have introduced multiple clients to our Resourcebase platforms. In return, we have been able to introduce them to our clients, creating a significant win-win situation. Working alongside other businesses has exposed us to diverse perspectives, unique working styles, and different problem-solving approaches. This exposure has broadened our knowledge, expanded our skill set, and widened our network, contributing to our overall business development and providing us with a deeper understanding of various markets. The Resourcebase platform acts as the brand hub for product and pack shots, lifestyle images, video and product documentation for one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers with a product range covering high quality breakfast cereals and a range of cereal bars. Our client manufactures in the UK and exports their products to 26 countries and counting! Their Resourcebase platform acts as the brand hub for material such as pack shots, PR images, video and product documentation Whilst many distributors have easy access to designers with the right skills and software, that’s not always the case. So upon upload of images Resourcebase automatically creates a number of alternative file types and image sizes so partners have a choice of file type to best suit their needs be that a high resolution image for a print project or a smaller file for web or Office documents. Additionally user can create custom crops for an image using the in-built image editor. This function also has preset crop masks for many social media channels. We created a custom email feature for this client so they can quickly and easily send branded emails to segmented groups telling them about new products, new images or new documentation. We’ve rolled this function into all systems.

With a customer base of several thousand, this dental health insurance provider needed a more agile, accessible platform for its customers to create unique, localised marketing material. Modern dental practices provide a broader range of services than ever before from general oral health to teeth whitening, straightening and other cosmetic procedures including botox. Our client, a UK based dental insurance provider, works with c.2,800 dental practices serving 1.7 million patients across the UK. Resourcebase was implemented to replace a platform that was inefficient, difficult to use and expensive to run. A primary stipulation was that the system had to be easy to use for end-users and system administrators. Practices have access to a range of templates for social media posts, leaflets, posters, adverts and appointment cards and pull up banners. Campaigns like National Smile Month and World Oral Health Day help practices produce focused material with a consistent look and feel. Each practice has a profile to hold logos and key data used to auto-populate fields in templates – this speeds up production and ensures accuracy. Practices with multiple sites are managed in this way. The previous system was linked to a print supplier so all material was routed to them. Resourcebase is more flexible with multiple output options. Practices can choose to print the item in-house, email the artwork to a local printer or use the in-built ordering option and have the collateral delivered to them. Watch the two-minute video as Claire Lincoln discusses how she implemented this platform at Simplyhealth...

More than 500 dynamic artwork templates across an international hotel business with multiple brands have now been deployed as this client finds more and more ways to drive their marketing through Resourcebase. Our client is a pan-European, multi-brand hotel chain with a series of branded and themed restaurants and bars, with highly diverse asset and artworks needs. The original intention was to use Resourcebase as a digital asset management platform primarily for hotel images for the growing portfolio. The scope of this has expanded significantly. Then, when we launched the integrated Dynamic Artwork system, it was quickly adopted by the hotel chain to create custom versions of marketing and promotional material. Such was the acceptance of the platform that the scope of material quickly expanded and now users have access to more than 500 templates. These are a mix of editable, non-editable and stock items for front of house, food & beverage, marketing & promotions and exhibitions. Each hotel has a profile comprising all logo variations, address and contact details as well as its own unique imagery. Hotel users are linked to a profile that auto populates tagged fields with a combination of localised logos and text that smooths the process for the end user and ensures accuracy and consistency. Where the template calls for images, users can select from a pre-set library or in some cases upload their own images. Print ordering is routed to one of several printers depending on hotel location and the item.

Ensuring pet owners are up-to-date with the latest treatments and offers was the motivation behind this system for vets which allows local practices to generate their own branded, localised promotional material. The requirement was to provide dynamic artwork that vets could use with their own practice branding and local contact information to promote a range of standardised insurance plans to ensure animals were kept happy and healthy. The insurance company designs informational and promotional collateral including posters, leaflets and online postings and then vets are prompted to localise it. A key factor was to ensure that this production work has minimum admin overhead for the busy, professional environment of the vets’ surgeries and so database-driven dynamic artwork is used to deliver pre-agreed, accurate information into the finished creative output. Content is refreshed regularly for seasonal campaigns such as vaccinations and ticks & fleas control and the system alerts vets when new material is available for re-purposing.
